The Starved Rock Media Spring Savings Radio Auction Official Auction Rules
- All radio auction bidding happens live on WLPO with your call to 815-223-3093 on Saturday, April 12th starting at 10 a.m.
- By making a bid you are entering into an agreement to purchase the item
- Current bid and item availability will be updated on the air and online during the live auction
- Every auction purchase will be confirmed on-air
- Radio Auction has a 3 bid-per-call maximum.
- In many cases you are purchasing a certificate to redeem at each business
- Every item will be sold at the auctioneer’s discretion
- Payment must be made in person at the Starved Rock Media studios with cash, check or credit card. We accept all major credit cards with a 4% processing fee added.
- You must pay for and pick up your certificates at the Starved Rock Media studios across from IVCC in Oglesby Saturday April 12th between 2:00 and 4 p.m. or between at 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday April 14th through Wednesday April 16th.
- Deadline to pay for items is 5 p.m. April 16th. If we have not received payment by then, you will forfeit the item and the next highest bidder will be offered the item.
- All sales are final. Items or services are purchased “as is”. Purchases are non-refundable, cannot be returned or exchanged and have no cash value. Starved Rock Media does not warrant any item purchased during the Radio Auction.
Online Auction Official Rules
- To bid online, you must create an account and log in. Click HERE to create or access your account.
- Only the items in the “Online Auction Items” are available for online bidding.
- You may bid on as many items as you wish.
- Online bidding on select items begins at 7 p.m. central Friday January 17th, and continues until 9 p.m. central Saturday January 26th.
- Payment for won auction items is due when the items are picked up at WLPO. Failure to pay for won auctions will result in the item or items being re-listed for auction.
- Payment must be made in person at the Starved Rock Media studios, 1 Broadcast Lane, Oglesby IL, with cash, check or credit card. Credit and debit cards accepted with a 4% convenience fee.
- You must present your confirmation email for auctions you’ve won online to WLPO along with proof of identification such as a valid driver’s license.
- You must must pick up and pay for your items in person at the Starved Rock Media studios the week of January 27th. Pick up will begin at noon on the 27th, and continue during regular business hours (8 a.m. – 5 p.m) through Friday 1/31.
- Deadline to pay for items is noon Friday January 31st. If we have not received payment by then, you will forfeit the item and the next highest bidder will be offered the item.
- All sales are final. Items or services are purchased “as is”. Purchases are non-refundable, cannot be returned or exchanged and have no cash value. Starved Rock Media does not warrant any item purchased during the 2nd Chance Auction
