The Starved Rock Media Spring Savings Radio Auction Official Auction Rules
- All radio auction bidding happens live on WLPO with your call to 815-223-3093 on Saturday, April 12th starting at 10 a.m.
- By making a bid you are entering into an agreement to purchase the item
- Current bid and item availability will be updated on the air and online during the live auction
- Every auction purchase will be confirmed on-air
- Radio Auction has a 3 bid-per-call maximum.
- In many cases you are purchasing a certificate to redeem at each business
- Every item will be sold at the auctioneer’s discretion
- Payment must be made in person at the Starved Rock Media studios with cash, check or credit card. We accept all major credit cards with a 4% processing fee added.
- You must pay for and pick up your certificates at the Starved Rock Media studios across from IVCC in Oglesby Saturday April 12th between 2:00 and 4 p.m. or between at 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday April 14th through Wednesday April 16th.
- Deadline to pay for items is 5 p.m. April 16th. If we have not received payment by then, you will forfeit the item and the next highest bidder will be offered the item.
- All sales are final. Items or services are purchased “as is”. Purchases are non-refundable, cannot be returned or exchanged and have no cash value. Starved Rock Media does not warrant any item purchased during the Radio Auction.
2nd Chance Spring Online Auction Official Rules
- To bid online, you must create an account and log in. Click HERE to create or access your account.
- Only the items in the “Online Auction Items” are available for online bidding.
- You may bid on as many items as you wish unless unless there is a stipulation by the seller.
- Live online bidding on select items begins at 9 a.m. central Thursday May 1st, and continues until 9 p.m. central Tuesday, May 6th.
- To finalize your online purchase, proceed to checkout and select Check Payments as the payment method. You’ll actually be making the actual payment at the radio station when picking up your item.
- Check the box to accept terms. Then click on Place Order.
- Check your inbox for your confirmation emails. Print them out. You may also want to check your spam folder in case the messages went there.
- Payment for won auction items is due when the items are picked up at WLPO. Failure to pay for won auctions will result in the item or items being re-listed for auction.
- Payment must be made in person at the Starved Rock Media studios, 1 Broadcast Lane, Oglesby IL, with cash, check or credit card. Credit and debit cards accepted with a 4% convenience fee.
- You must present your confirmation email for auctions you’ve won online to WLPO along with proof of identification such as a valid driver’s license.
- You must pay for and pick up your certificates at the Starved Rock Media studios across from IVCC in Oglesby between Noon on Wednesday May 7th through 5 p.m. Monday, May 12th.
- Deadline to pay for items is noon Monday, May 12th, 2025. If we have not received payment by then, you will forfeit the item and the next highest bidder will be offered the item.
- All sales are final. Items or services are purchased “as is”. Purchases are non-refundable, cannot be returned or exchanged and have no cash value. Starved Rock Media does not warrant any item purchased during the WLPO Spring 2nd Chance Auction.
